The Atlantic Coast Conference today released the conference opponents for the 2026 football season, unveiling the University of Louisville’s slate of home and away matchups.

The Cardinals will host five games at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium and travel for four road contests as part of their ACC schedule.

Louisville is one of 12 ACC schools with nine conference games next season.

Louisville’s home schedule features marquee matchups against Florida State and rising programs SMU and Stanford, while also welcoming Pitt and Wake Forest to the Derby City. Florida State is making its first trip to Louisville since 2022, while SMU is visiting for the second time and Stanford is making its first visit to L&N Stadium.

On the road, the Cardinals will face a challenging slate highlighted by trips to North Carolina and NC State, along with contests against Georgia Tech and Syracuse.

ACC Commissioner’s Office noted that the 2026 schedule continues to balance competitive equity and preserve key rivalries while introducing fresh matchups across the conference’s expanded footprint.

The full 2026 ACC football schedule, including dates and television designations, will be announced in late Janauary.
