The University of Louisville women’s basketball program is excited to announce the addition of guard Reyna Scott, who is transferring from the University of Oklahoma. Scott, a 5-foot-10 junior from New York City, brings a wealth of experience and talent to the Cardinals’ roster.

“We are thrilled to welcome Reyna to the Cardinals family,” said Louisville head coach Jeff Walz. “Her versatility, experience, and leadership will be invaluable assets to our program as we continue to build upon our success.”

In 2024-25, Scott continued to contribute significantly, averaging 4.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, and a career-best 2.2 assists per game. Notably, she posted 10 points and six assists against No. 2 South Carolina on January 19. Scott tallied a career-best eight assists on the road against No. 7 LSU. She started each of the last 15 games as Oklahoma made it to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

During her sophomore season (2023-24) with the Sooners, Scott played in all 33 games, averaging 5.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. She scored in double figures five times, including a season-high 13 points against Alabama State on November 15, 2023.

A standout at Nazareth High School in Brooklyn, Scott was a first-team All-Catholic High School Athletic Association selection and a 2022 McDonald’s All-American nominee. She chose Oklahoma over Texas A&M and Seton Hall and will continue her collegiate career with Louisville.

Scott’s transfer to Louisville is effective immediately, and she will join the team for her senior season.
