12/30 Tipoff vs. Long Beach State moved to Accommodate Belk Bowl
The University of Louisville’s men’s basketball game against Long Beach State on Dec. 30 in the KFC Yum! Center has been moved to 4 p.m. ET so as not to conflict with the Cardinals’ football game against Georgia on the same date.
The basketball game had been originally scheduled for 7 p.m. It will remain an ESPN3 telecast. The time change will allow Cardinal fans wishing to watch both the basketball game and U of L’s appearance in the Belk Bowl at 6:30 p.m., whether attending the basketball game in Louisville, following the football team to Charlotte, or viewing or listening to both games.
Louisville (8-0), ranked fourth nationally in both the AP and USA Today men’s basketball national polls, returns to action at the KFC Yum! Center on Sunday at 6 p.m. against UNC Wilmington in the 13th Annual Billy Minardi Classic.
