The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced that tickets for “Opening Day Presented By Food Lion” of the 2015 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament (Tuesday, March 10) will go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 21, at 10 a.m.

The historic opening day will tip off the first ACC Tournament to begin on a Tuesday. The five-day tournament will continue through the evening of March 14 at the Greensboro Coliseum, marking the first time since 1981 that the event has concluded with a Saturday night championship game.

Tickets for Tuesday’s action of the annual tournament will be sold separately from the tournament book. Reserved seats are $45 each, while general admission tickets are priced at $35. The tickets are good for all three games of the opening session, which will be played at noon, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Beginning this Friday, tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster online (http://theacc.co/15TourneyTix), at all Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000 and the Greensboro Coliseum box office.

The 2015 tournament will be the ACC’s 62nd annual and will be played at the Greensboro Coliseum for the 26th time – the most of any venue.

Ticketholders for ‘Opening Day’ are encouraged to visit ACC FanFest in the Pavilion prior to the final game on Tuesday. ACC FanFest includes the ACC store, historical exhibits, face painting, entertainment, food, drinks and more. On March 10, FanFest will run from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., and admission is free.
