Teddy Bridgewater is a Minnesota Viking selected in the 1st Round with the 32nd pick by the Vikings.
Bridgewater leaves Louisville as the #3 All-Time Passer in Yardage despite forgoing his senior season. As a junior Two Glove Teddy had the #1 Total Offense Season EVER in Louisville with 4048 yards. Teddy Ballgame also broke Brian Brohm’s single season TD record with 31 Touchdowns in 2013 while throwing just 4 Interceptions.
The Vikings are getting a supremely dedicated, talented, and competitive Quaterback that I personally believe will be the basis of the franchise for over a DECADE. The Vikings will certainly realize their investment many times over and Bridgewater will quickly win over the fans.
Minnesota certainly will provide Teddy an opportunity to compete right away. The Vikings currently have Matt Cassell & Christian Ponder on their roster at the Quaterback position and finished 23rd in passing with a 214 average per game in 2013. Teddy will be expected to compete immediately to start Game 1, and there probably isn’t a QB in the draft with the aptitude and focus to meet that challenge.
TheCrunchZone.com will certainly keep tabs on Teddy throughout training camp, OTAs, and throughout Bridgewater’s Career.
