Rick Pitino during his 1st radio show of the 2014-15 alluded to an ‘eligibility issue’ in regards to 4-star Rainer Beach, WA Small Forward Shaqquan Aaron.
Aaron was one of the most heralded recruits of the 2014 recruiting haul for Rick Pitino and was missing in action during Sunday’s exhibition versus Barry College. Previously Shaqquan had scored a high of 18 points during Louisville’s Red/White Scrimmages.
The Small Forward is not expected to play Sunday vs. Bellarmine in Louisville’s final exhibition match-up, but Pitino expressed hope that Shaqquan would be available when the Cards travel to Puerto Rico to open the season against Richard Pitino’s Minnesota Gophers.
