Louisville looked outstanding in its first game vs. Samford. The Cards played fantastic defense and were active offensively while making shots. Tonight’s game vs. Hartford really shouldn’t be much of a challenge. UofL is much bigger and more talented than the Hawks, but the thing to watch is how well the Cards keep Hartford off of the offensive glass and how well UofL defends the 3-point line.
Next Saturday UofL will have a real test when North Florida comes to town. The Osprey’s took down Illinois in its opener and beat Rio Grande Valley scoring over 100 points. NF is a very capable offensive team and should give the Cards many problems. Before that though, Louisville has a little time to tune up with Hartford and that’s exactly what this is, a tune-up.
UofL has a distinct size advantage against Hartford and fans should expect to see great passing, great defense and if the shots are falling a blow out.
