Louisville Football’s November 17th match-up with the Houston Cougars now has its time & TV slot. The Cards will travel to TDECU Stadium and face off vs. the Tom Herman led Cougars on Thursday November 17th at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN.
The Cards fell to Houston in Game 2 of 2015 in a 34-31 loss. The young UofL gridiron gang was turnover plagued throughout the contest and a late kickoff return for a Touchdown ultimately doomed the Cards & elevated the Greg Ward, Jr. led Cougars. Houston finished 2015 #8 in the AP poll with a 13-1 record and won the Peach Bowl over Florida State 38-24.
In 2016 Louisville vs. Houston will be at the end of the schedule and will follow its last ACC game 5 days prior (Wake Forest). Because Louisville will play Houston on Thursday night the Cards will have 9 days between Houston & its regular season finale vs. Kentucky.
