University of Louisville junior wide receiver Jamari Thrash will not play in the 2023 Holiday Bowl against USC on Dec. 27 and forgo his final year of eligibility.
In his lone season with the Cards, Thrash led the squad in receiving with 63 receptions for 858 yards and six touchdowns. A second team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honoree, Thrash finished fourth in the ACC in receptions and third in yards while leading the Cards to a 10-3 mark and an appearance in the ACC title game.
Thrash recorded a pair of 100-yard receiving contests in 12 games. He totaled a career high 159 yards on four receptions in a 21-14 win over Indiana and caught a season high nine passes for 120 yards in a road contest at Pittsburgh.
A native of LaGrange, Ga., Thrash has accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., on Feb. 3, 2024.
