The University of Louisville picked up its 12th commitment of the 2015 Signing Class on Friday morning when Central HS product Traveon Samuel (5’8, 180 lbs) committed to the Cards. Samuel joins Khane Pass, Matt Colburn, Tim Bonner, Troy Thingstad, TJ Jallow, James Allen, Matt Colburn, Aaron Cochran, Chandler Jones, Kareem Orr, Dahu Green and Jonathan Greenard in the 2015 signing class.
Traveon is a 3-star prospect according to Scout.com, and Rivals.com and 247Sports.com from Phenix, AL Samuel will play running back for Louisville and was rated the #75 RB by Scout.
Traveon passed on offers from Alabama, Auburn, California, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Florida St, Kentucky, LSU, Minnesota, Mississippi St, NC State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio State, South Florida, Southern Miss, Washington St, and Tennessee.
