ESPN Louisville To Launch New Radio Station 93.9 The
Ville, Powered By ESPN

Station Will Go Live On Thursday, January 29

LOUISVILLE, KY. – ESPN Louisville, the group behind local stations ESPN 680 and
105.7 FM, continues to change the face of sports radio in Louisville with the launch
of 93.9 The Ville, Powered by ESPN. 93.9 The Ville will be the station that puts Louisville first and that fans go to for coverage of Cardinal Athletics through an official partnership with Louisville Sports Properties, which represents University of Louisville Athletics.

The initial lineup on 93.9 The Ville will include “The Deener Show” from 7am-
10am, ESPN’s “The Herd” hosted by Colin Cowherd from 10am-1pm, “SVP and Russillo” from 1pm-3pm, “The John Ramsey Show” from 3pm-6pm, and a variety of the best
nationally syndicated programs. “The Jeff Walz Show” will be a part of the weekly
lineup throughout U of L women’s basketball season and 93.9 The Ville will be the
broadcast home of U of L baseball games.

AM and 105.7 FM will continue to give listeners breaking news, strong sports opinions,
thought provoking and entertaining sports talk they have come to love and expect
from Bob Valvano, Jason Anderson and our national hosts. On our new station, 93.9
The Ville, listeners will be able to hear the latest news and information on the
hometown Louisville Cardinals. No one will cover U of L Athletics with more passion or
access than we will,” said Drew Deener, Vice-President and Morning Show Host.
“Sports Talk Radio is our passion, and we are passionate about being the best.”
Veteran Louisville television and radio personality, John Ramsey, will anchor afternoons
on 93.9 The Ville. “I am very excited about the opportunity to combine my radio and
television experience with my passion for Cardinal Athletics,” said Ramsey.
Between the stations, ESPN Louisville will provide sports fans with exclusive programming, including NFL Football, the Playoffs and Super Bowl, the College Football
Playoff and National Championship Games, Louisville’s Bowl Game, ACC, SEC, Big 10
and Big 12 Tournament Championship Games, the NCAA Tournament and National
Championship, the Triple Crown (including our very own Kentucky Derby), The Breeders Cup, the College World Series, MLB Playoffs and World Series, The Masters and US
Open, NBA Playoffs and Finals, Reds Baseball, Colts Football and more.
Since the inception of the company, ESPN Louisville has had one goal: To be a fixture
on radios, smart phones, internet, and social media of Louisville sports fans for years to
come. 93.9 The Ville invites listeners to tune in to the station’s official launch on
