Former Louisville Head Coach Bobby Petrino is set to become the Offensive Coordinator at Texas A&M after holding the same post at UNLV for about a month.
Petrino last coordinated (without being a head coach) for Auburn in 2002 but previously had been a play-caller for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Louisville, Utah State, Nevada, Idaho and Carroll College.
Bobby will be going back to the SEC where he was a head coach at Arkansas. Petrino was Louisville’s head coach twice from 2003-2006 and then again from 2014-2018. At UofL Petrino was 77-35 as a head coach and won more than 8 games in 8 of his 9 seasons at UofL. In 2018 the Cards were 2-10 under Petrino and he was terminated with two games remaining in the season.
Bobby Petrino was bought out from his contract by Vince Tyra for $14,000,000. He has been the head coach at Missouri State since 2020.
