The University of Louisville football program announced Tuesday the addition of Bowling Green to complete its nonconference schedule for the 2025 football season.
The Cardinals will host Falcons on Sept. 20, 2025 at Cardinal Stadium, which will be the first meeting between the two schools. The Cardinals have a long history of playing opponents from the Mid-American Conference, posting a record of 47-29-18.
Louisville will face a school from the MAC for the first time since a 42-3 victory over Kent State during the 2017 season.
The addition of the Falcons will be the fourth non-league game for the Cardinals during that season. UofL also hosts Eastern Kentucky (Aug. 30), and will play road games at Indiana (Sept. 6) and Kentucky (Nov. 29).
