Louisville Sophomore Guard Donovan Mitchell will forego his remaining two seasons of college basketball and enter the NBA Draft.
Donovan announced his intentions on Instagram & Twitter on Friday afternoon and will sign with CAA as his agency. Mitchell will participate in the NBA Combine next week in Chicago. The UofL sophomore fluctuates in mock drafts but typically is listed 2-3 picks around the #20 selection.
Donovan was the Cards’ leading scorer averaging 15.6 points per game while adding 4.9 rebounds per game and 2.1 steals. Mitchell was a 1st Team All-ACC Selection in 2016-17.
The NBA Draft is June 22nd in Brooklyn, NY’s Barclays Center. We wish Donovan the very best of luck as a professional.
