With Spring practice beginning tomorrow we’re learning about the status of several players for the University of Louisville Football program. Two notable absences that fans will notice are cornerback Shaq Wiggins & offensive lineman Chandler Jones.
Shaq Wiggins transferred to UofL from Georgia with Josh Harvey-Clemons but struggled with injuries during the 2016 season. Chandler Jones figured to have an opportunity along the offensive line this Spring with a fresh start with Mike Summers, but instead will head elsewhere.
The transfer destinations for both of these players are not yet known, but we wish them both the very best.
