Pitino to Be Honored Prior to November 12th Game
University of Louisville head coach Rick Pitino will be honored in a pregame ceremony prior to the Cardinals’ Nov. 12 game against Hofstra in the KFC Yum! Center. The ceremony, which will begin at 6:45 p.m., is to honor Pitino’s enshrinement in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Sept. 8, 2013 in Springfield, Mass. Pitino is the third UofL representative to become a member of the Hall of Fame — joining Wes Unseld and Denny Crum — and a banner in the arena with the three individuals names will be revealed prior to Tuesday’s game.
