The University of Louisville will attempt to beat Duke three times in the same season on Wednesday when the Cards and Blue Devils square off in the ACC Quarterfinals in Greensboro, NC. The Cards and Chris Mack will also be trying to beat Duke in 4 consecutive meetings a feat only recently accomplished by UCONN over a period of ten years from 1994-2004. Louisville would be the first ACC team to beat Duke 4 straight since 1997 (Wake Forest beat Duke 9 consecutive times from 1993-1997, Tim Duncan).

Duke beat Boston College in the 1st round of the 2021 Tournament on Tuesday, moving the Blue Devils to a league-best 104-45 all-time in the ACC Tournament. Duke owns 21 ACC Tournament Championships. Rick Pitino’s 2017 Louisville lost to Duke in the ACC Quarterfinals in Brooklyn after holding a 12-point 2nd half advantage against the Blue Devils.

Louisville is 0-1 in ACC Tournament games in Greensboro Coliseum, while Duke is 40-18. Krzyzewski is 66-23 all-time in the ACC Tournament. Chris Mack is 1-1.

Louisville and Duke have met in the post-season 3 times. Twice in the NCAA Tournament and once in the ACC Tournament. Duke is 1-0 in the ACC Tournament vs. Louisville. Louisville is 2-0 vs. Duke in the NCAA Tournament.

The two teams have met on a neutral floor 6 times with Duke owning a 4-2 advantage.
