University of Louisville running back Isaac Brown has earned another preseason All-America nod, garnering second-team recognition from the Walter Camp Football Foundation on Tuesday.
Brown proved to be one of the nation’s up-and-coming running backs in the nation last season, rushing for 1,173 yards and 11 touchdowns as a true freshman. The Homestead, Fla., native became the first true freshman to rush for over 1,000 yards in a season and finished in the top 20 nationally by averaging a solid 7.1 yards per carry.
A first team All-Atlantic Coast Conference performer, Brown was also tabbed the ACC’s Rookie and Offensive Rookie of the Year. Brown recorded five 100-yard rushing games, including a season best 178 yards in the regular season finale versus Kentucky.
