Free Agency began this week in the NFL and there was a lot of moving around throughout the league.  Harry Douglas signed a 3-year deal with the Tennessee Titans, and we’ll keep you up to to date with the exact terms of that deal once it is known.  But we do know the terms for Bilal Powell & Greg Scruggs.

Bilal Powell- New York Jets

Former Louisville Running Back Bilal Powell signed a 1-year $2 million deal with the New York Jets.  There was some speculation that Powell would join Rex Ryan in Buffalo, but instead, Bilal will remain with former Cardinals Breno Giacomini & Calvin Pryor in New York.

Powell received a $750,000 signing bonus to go along with a base salary of $1.25 Million.  There are no options on Bilal’s deal and he will become an Unrestricted Free Agent in 2016.

Greg Scruggs- Seattle Seahawks

Former Cardinal Defensive End Greg Scruggs has struggled with his health during his tenure in the NFL, but Seattle likes the investment made in Greg thus far and signed the unrestricted Free Agent to a 1-year $785,000 contract.  The deal comes with a $100,000 signing bonus to go along with a $25,000 Roster Bonus (if he makes the final 53-man team) and a $660,000 salary for 2015.
