4 Years ago the Louisville Football program landed arguably its highest rated recruiting class in the 2011 season. That class was rated by 247Sports.com as the #29 ranked class, #29 by Rivals.com, and #32 by Scout.com.
The 21 player recruiting class only had a handful of players who made small contributions to the program with most of the players in the 2011 class making MAJOR impacts. There are still 3 players from the 2011 class still in the program, and we will certainly re-visit this after the 2015 NFL Draft and if necessary the 2016 Draft.
