Former Louisville Cardinal Sheldon Rankins has signed a 1-year, $10.5 Million contract with the Houston Texans. Sheldon played the past two seasons with the New York Jets and was originally drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 2016 Draft with the 12 pick in the 1st round.
When Sheldon completes his 2023 season with the Texans’ he will have earned $41.7M during his career.
At Louisville Sheldon played all 4 seasons at Louisville and totaled 133 tackles, 31.5 TFLs and 18 sacks as a Cardinal.
