On Sunday evening Pearl River Community College (MS) Defensive Lineman Drew Bailey committed to the Louisville Football program. Bailey will enroll in January and is the Cards 22nd commit of the 2015 class and joins Geron Christian, Jaire Alexander, Dee (Darius) Smith, Amonte Caban, Paul Harris, Trey Smith, Lamar Jackson, Jaylen Smith, GG Robinson, Traveon Samuel, Khane Pass, Matt Colburn, Tim Bonner, TJ Jallow, James Allen, Matt Colburn, Aaron Cochran, Chandler Jones, Dahu Green and Jonathan Greenard.
Right now it looks like Bailey will play END but could also play inside. Todd Grantham likes players who can play more than one position and Drew Bailey is definitely that type of player. Bailey redshirted his 1st year at Pearl and recorded 10 sacks as a redshirt freshman. Bailey will enroll as a redshirt sophomore and will have 3 years to play as a Cardinal. Bailey is a 2-star prospect according to Scout.com but is yet to be rated by Rivals or 247sports.com.
Drew chose Louisville over offers from Iowa State, Maryland, NC State, and Purdue.
