LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women’s basketball team was picked 10th in the 2017-18 USA Today Preseason Top 25 Coaches’ poll, which was released on Thursday afternoon.

Louisville is one of five Atlantic Coast Conference schools to appear in the top 25, second only to the Pac-12, which had six teams listed.

The Cardinals went 29-8 a season ago and capped the year ranked 12th in the USA Today/Coaches’ poll and 13th in the Associated Press poll.

They are coming off their seventh NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in school history, all under the guidance of head coach Jeff Walz.

Last week, the Cards were picked second in both Atlantic Coast Conference preseason polls, while junior guard Asia Durr was named ACC Preseason Player of the Year and senior forward Myisha Hines-Allen earned Preseason All-ACC honors.

Fans can purchase single game tickets at ticketmaster.com, by calling 502-852-5151 or by coming to ticket office at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
