VJ King has signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the University of Louisville Wednesday evening. King is a 5-star shooting guard from Akron, OH he is 6’6, 190 lbs and is a consensus Top 25 player in the 2016 class.
King is originally from Cleveland, OH and has also lived in the Washington D.C. area. Frankie Hughes who signed earlier in the day is also from Cleveland.
VJ is known for his versatility as he can guard multiple positions and can handle the ball really well for a 6’6 forward. Scouts like his passing, rebounding, and ability to score from mid-range and the rim.
VJ King chose the Cards over offers from UCONN, Arizona, Clemson, Florida State, Georgetown, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Ohio State, Syracuse, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Miami, and North Carolina.
