Preparing for a post season punishment in which Coach Walz will not be allowed to coach (in a tournament they aren’t guaranteed to make in the first place, but that is neither here nor there), a subdued Coach Walz sat halfway down the bench while the coaching staff took over the majority of game-day operations. Associate Head Coach, Stephanie Norman took over the first seat and in game substituting responsibilities vs UT Martin. She mentions making a trip to the hospital two days prior for an illness and was thrown into the position a day after being released. The fact that she was still able to find the ugly Christmas sweater for the game-night promo is quite impressive… and she gave a great post game press conference.
