Former 4-star prospect (6’4, 255) Jordan Davis has announced that he will transfer from College Station and Texas A&M to Louisville to play his final 3 seasons of eligibility.

Jordan enrolled early with the Aggies as a part of the 2015 signing class and played in 11 games as a true freshman for Kevin Sumlin.  Davis was a consensus 4-star Tight End with offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, & Texas Tech when coming out of Clear Lake HS in Houston, TX.

Davis spoke highly of Louisville’s use of the Tight End after watching the Cardinals’ Spring Game last weekend.  UofL & Petrino’s usage of the tight end is in stark contrast to Sumlin & the Aggies who use a tight end about every third play.

Davis had 2 catches for 7 yards and a TD last year.  He will have to sit out the 2016 season but will have 3 years of eligibility to play for the Cards.
