Louisville travels to Charlottesville, VA this week to face off against the Virginia Cavaliers. Right now on paper UVA is the better football team. The Cards just aren’t performing well (statistically speaking) on either side of the ball.
Hopefully the move to Malik Cunningham will help the offense. The offense with Malik Cunningham at QB has scored on 8 of 12 drives started and the defense really tightened up on Saturday. 3rd Down has to get better on both sides of the ball.
Virginia moved the ball well against Ohio and struggled and lost to Indiana. Defensively the Hoos have played OK and will certainly be better than Indiana State & Western Kentucky. Here is a look at the entire body of work through Week 3 for both teams.
