Louisville’s future schedule appears to be getting another significant boost.

It is being reported that the Cards will face Ole Miss in the 2021 Chick-Fil-A Kickoff held in Atlanta.   Louisville last played in that game in 2015 where they fell to SEC foe Auburn 31-24.  The Cards fell behind early before mounting a furious comeback led by then-freshman Lamar Jackson in his first collegiate game.

The game will be played in Mercedes-Benz Stadium which is set to open this year and will be the new home of the Atlanta Falcons.

Louisville has already announced future matches with such teams as Alabama, Notre Dame,  Indiana, and now Ole Miss.  This provides a great travel opportunity for the fanbase and is sure to create a summer buzz leading up to kickoff.  We at TCZ will provide more information as it comes.
