This morning ESPN’s Brett McMurphy announced that Louisville & Purdue would meet in the 2017 Season Opener on September 2, 2017 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Louisville is set to open the 2015 season in Atlanta vs. Auburn.

In 2016 the current opener is slated to be Charlotte, with the 2018 opener not yet known. Louisville will open its 2019 season vs. Notre Dame at PJCS on September 2, 2019. Louisville also has future undetermined dates with Notre Dame in 2020 and 2023. Louisville’s series with Kentucky is in place through 2019 to play the final game of the year.

2017:
