Late Thursday evening, Louisville offered class of 2017 and Warren County (TN) standout Krojhn Calbert. The 6’5″ 285lbs lineman is rated a 3* by 247Sports and the #55 offensive tackle nationally. Despite being a highly ranked offensive line prospect, Louisville sees Calbert at a slightly different position.

“Right now I’m being recruited as an offensive left tackle. [But] They believe I can be dominate as a DT.” Calbert said via message Tuesday night. “They say that I move well and really athletic for DT and that I’m a big guy.”

Where does Louisville stack up among other offers such as Florida, South Carolina, Missouri, Mississippi St., and Kentucky?

“Most certainly at the top! I like what they got going on there.” Calbert stated.

With the type of product Louisville has put on the field, it’s hard not to take notice and Calbert certainly is aware of it.

“I haven’t really got to know the school, but what they’re doing on the field as a team is awesome.” Calbert said, “I really like what Lamar Jackson does. I tell people not to sleep on them.”

As far as a decision goes Calbert said while he is not really sure, one could come at the end of December. With Louisville seemingly looking to add a defensive tackle to the class of 2017, we will be keeping our eye on Calbert for sure.
