Just wanted to drop a couple quick pieces of information off here. We will continue to update you as we start turning to the 2017 recruiting class but I wanted to throw 1 bit of 2016 information in here as well!

Louisville Junior Day is this weekend so we should have a chance to bring you some good information after it is over.

** Louisville has a new kicker. Austin Laszewski from Chaminade Madonna College Prep in Florida will be a preferred walk-on his first year at UofL then have the opportunity to earn a scholarship after that first year. Laszewski built a relationship with Coach Grantham from this past summer and when asked what made him choose Louisville said “I think it was the best situation for me and I loved it when I visited in the summer”.

** This weekend, Louisville will host a slew of 2017 football recruits. One recruit to keep an eye on is Antonio Oliver. The Atlanta, GA defensive back who has had interest from Miami recently as well as Wisconsin, UK, Tennessee and Indiana, does not currently hold a Louisville offer but is hoping to earn one at Louisville’s Junior Day on Saturday. UofL appears to be the favorite for Oliver and with an offer, it would not surprise me to see a commitment before he leaves campus.
