Louisville Linebacker Keith Kelsey has signed his contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Kelsey’s deal with the Steelers is for 3-years, $1,665,000. Keith will earn an average salary of $555,000 throughout his contract and will earn $465,000 as a rookie with the Steelers with $90,000 raises each year of the contract. Kelsey will be a restricted free agent in 2020.
Keith will have to earn a spot on the active roster in order to earn this contract, like every NFL player. Kelsey was undrafted in the 2017 Draft and was quickly picked up by Pittsburgh at the conclusion of the draft. Keith had 93 tackles as an inside linebacker for Louisville in 2016 and was 2nd Team All-ACC following his 107 take downs in 2015 when he was 1st Team All-ACC as a junior.
