On Tuesday morning Louisville picked up its 21st commitment of the 2015 Signing Class on Sunday when Geron Christian of Trinity Catholic in Ocala, FL made his pledge to the Cards. Geron is brother of current Louisville Tight End Gerald Christian, and joins Jaire Alexander, Dee (Darius) Smith, Amonte Caban, Paul Harris, Trey Smith, Lamar Jackson, Jaylen Smith, GG Robinson, Traveon Samuel, Khane Pass, Matt Colburn, Tim Bonner, TJ Jallow, James Allen, Matt Colburn, Aaron Cochran, Chandler Jones, Dahu Green and Jonathan Greenard in the 2015 Signing Class.
Geron is a 3-star Offensive Line prospect accord to all 3 major scouting services and chose Louisville over Arkansas, Miami, & Mississippi State. After watching Geron’s highlight films (he has just individual games rather than a Senior Season right now, will post if we get it), it’s clear that Christian has a lot of the same athleticism of his brother, yet in a larger frame of 6’4, 305 lbs.
