Louisville Football landed its 15th commitment of the 2016 recruiting class on Thursday when Wide Receiver Keion Wakefield from Male High School made his pledge to the Cards.
The 5’10, 170 lbs Wakefield was recruited by Garrick McGee and is a 3-star prospect by all 3 major scouting services and called Louisville a ‘Perfect Fit’.
Keion chose the Cards over offers from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Purdue along with some recent activity from some major programs. Keion Wakefield joins Mike Boykin, Jawon Pass, Malik Staples, Dwayne Wallace, Taylor Yamanhoa, Seth Dawkins, Desmond Fitzpatrick, Baylen Buchanan, Rodjay Burns, Robbie Bell, Derek Dorsey, Austin Cummins, and Austin Johnson in the 2016 signing class this February.
