On Monday evening the UofL Football picked up its 23rd commitment of the 2015 class when Running Back Jeremy Smith of Fresno City (CC) made his pledge with the Cards. Jeremy, originally from Hammond, LA joins Drew Bailey, Geron Christian, Jaire Alexander, Dee (Darius) Smith, Amonte Caban, Paul Harris, Trey Smith, Lamar Jackson, Jaylen Smith, GG Robinson, Traveon Samuel, Khane Pass, Matt Colburn, Tim Bonner, TJ Jallow, James Allen, Matt Colburn, Aaron Cochran, Chandler Jones, Dahu Green and Jonathan Greenard in the 2015 class.
Smith (6’2, 225) will enroll this January and will have 3 years of eligibility to play with the Cards. Jeremy is a 3-star prospect and chose Louisville over Colorado, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, and Alabama. During his freshman season at Fresno City College, Smith rushed for 1,735 yards on 205 carries and 17 touchdowns in 11 games.
