Louisville Football secured its 20th commitment of the 2016 signing class when the Cards landed Jaquelle Green from D’Iberville, MS (Biloxi) of D’Iberville HS. Green is a 4-star prospect according Rivals/Yahoo and and is 3-star prospect according to Scout & 247sports.com. Jody Demling of CardinalAuthority.com broke the news first.
The 6’0, 180 lbs Safety continues a recent trend of star Mississippi players coming to Louisville. Jaquelle chose Louisville over offers from Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Georgia.
Jaquelle Green joins Lamarques Thomas, Caleb Tillman, Tabarius Peterson, Keion Wakefield, Mike Boykin, Jawon Pass, Malik Staples, Dwayne Wallace, Taylor Yamanhoa, Seth Dawkins, Desmond Fitzpatrick, Baylen Buchanan, Rodjay Burns, Robbie Bell, Derek Dorsey, Austin Cummins, Tylin Oden and Austin Johnson in the 2016 signing class this February.
