Ja’Quay Williams comes to Louisville from Texas A&M after his freshman season. Following High School (2011-12) at Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, GA Ja’Quay signed with Auburn as the #14 rated Wide Receiver by Rivals (#16 by Scout/#26 by ESPN) and was a SuperPrep All-American. Instead of playing with the Tigers Williams played his 2012-13 year at Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia. Williams was rated the #2 prospect nationally out of the prep school rankings by Rivals.com, and Selected to participate in the 2012 U.S. Semper Fidelis All-American Game. In High School Ja’Quay was the #35 prospect on the Mobile Press-Register’s Super Southeast 120 and was selected to participate in the 2012 U.S. Semper Fidelis All-American Game.
Prior to leaving Fork Union Ja’Quay Williams chose Texas A&M over Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State, and South Carolina.
