Former Louisville defensive back Devontre Parnell has reportedly transferred to Southern Miss as was first reported by 247 Sports. Parnell was a 3* cornerback coming out of high school and a member of the 2012 Louisville football recruiting class.
Parnell, who was clocked running a 4.38 second 40 yard dash at Louisville, will be eligible to play immediately as a graduate transfer. During his 3 year stint at Louisville, Parnell recorded a total of 5 tackles, 4 occurring during the 2014 season as he battled injuries throughout his college career.
