ESPN College GameDay Built by The Home Depot – college football’s longest-running and most-celebrated pregame show – is making its first stop in The Derby City on Saturday in advance of a top-10 showdown between ACC powerhouses Louisville and Florida State.

The first two hours of the six-time Emmy Award-winning show will broadcast on the lawn in front of the Howard Schnellenberger Football Complex, just outside the northeast corner of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, and the final hour will be aired inside the stadium.

The weekly show, which airs from 9 a.m. to noon on ESPN, is hosted by Rece Davis, who is joined by analysts Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack, as well as contributors Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica, Jen Lada, Samantha Ponder, Tom Rinaldi, George Whitfield and Gene Wojciechowski.

Chris Fowler, Herbstreit, and Ponder will stay on site to call the game between 10th-ranked Louisville and second-ranked Florida State. Both programs enter the week 2-0, with the Cardinals improving to 1-0 in the ACC after a 62-28 victory at Syracuse on Sept. 9.

College Football Live will air from the GameDay set on Friday with Ponder, Howard and Pollack (ESPN, 1:30 p.m.). SportsCenter’s Sara Walsh and Michael Eaves will also contribute from site throughout the weekend.

Early Saturday live reports on ESPN’s SportsCenter and ESPN’s College Football Live program on Friday from 1:30-2 p.m. are also planned to be staged at the GameDay area. Details on fan participation for GameDay and other events will be released as information becomes available.

Lee Corso, a graduate of Florida State, is returning to Louisville, where he coached from 1969-72. He held a 28-11-3 mark in his four years, including a 9-1 record in his final year.
