Thursday Morning, Scout.com’s Evan Daniels reported that Damion Lee, graduate transfer from Drexel has signed to play for the Cards for the 2015-16 basketball season. Lee joins Cleveland State transfer Trey Lewis after visiting with the Cards earlier this week.

Incoming freshman also joining Damion Lee and Trey Lewis for 2015-16 will be Donovan Mitchell, Deng Adel, Ryan McMahon and Raymond Spalding.

Lee 6’6, 200 lbs will join the Cards this summer and will travel with the team to Puerto Rico for its summer trip. Damion averaged 21.4 points per game at Drexel while playing 38.1 minutes and adding 6.1 rebounds. Lee chose the Cards over Arizona, Maryland, Marquette, and Gonzaga. Louisville assistant Kenny Johnson was the main recruiter to Lee’s recruitment.

Damion did miss the final 3 games of Drexel’s season with a hand fracture but did score 1542 points in his 3-year career at Drexel.
