The NBA has invited Louisville Center Chinanu Onuaku to the NBA Combine (May 11-15).  Onuaku celebrated the news on Instagram with a dancing meme, the post has since been deleted.

Nanu is one of 62 players invited to the combine and the junior-to-be will have an opportunity to showcase his skill set for NBA teams.  Onuaku has not hired an agent and has until May 25th to make his decision to keep his name in the draft or return to Louisville for his junior season.

Rick Pitino is on record stating that he hopes that Nanu was invited to the NBA Combine so that Chinanu could see what he needs to work on should he decide to return for 2016-17.  However, the NBA Combine invitation does increase the possibility that Onuaku remains in the draft.

Nanu averaged 9.9 points per game and grabbed 8.5 rebounds as a sophomore.
