The University of Louisville football team will hold its annual Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Spring Game on Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.  Admission to the game is free. 

Spring Game events begin at 3 p.m. in StreetFest with live entertainment and carnival rides for both children and adults.  Located between stadium Gates 3 and 5, the StreetFest area will feature food vendors, beer and drink specials, plus live music and family-friendly games and rides.

Also in StreetFest, Cardinal Authentic – the team store of the Louisville Cardinals – will host its annual tent sale where fans can purchase officially-licensed merchandise for up to 70% off.  Tickets for the carnival rides will be sold per ride or an all-day pass can also be purchased.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. with drink specials available throughout the game on the Norton Healthcare Terrace for only $2.  During halftime, Louisville will recognize its most recent Football alumni by presenting last season’s team awards and jersey presentation.

Following the game, the team will host a 45-minute autograph session on the field.  Fans that arrive early to the game can pick up the limited edition Spring Game schedule poster at the gates with a minimum donation of $2 to the Dave Thomas Foundation.  There is a limit of one signed item per fan during the autograph session.

Fans can also check out other Louisville teams in action on Friday.  The nationally-ranked baseball team will host ACC foe Wake Forest at 5 p.m. from Jim Patterson Stadium.  It’s a Budweiser Buck Night at the ballgame where select draft beer and small Pepsi products are only a dollar each during the contest.

The men’s tennis team hosts Duke at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center starting at 4 p.m.  Within walking distance from Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, both events include free admission.

Football season ticket renewals for the 2015 campaign have begun with a June 1 renewal deadline set.  For information on purchasing new 2015 season tickets, fans can complete a season ticket application online http://www.gocards.com/ot/football-waiting-list-app.html).

Tickets for Louisville’s appearance in the 2015 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game versus Auburn at the Georgia Dome on September 5 are on sale. Football season ticket holders are eligible for an exclusive “Buy One, Get One FREE” offer to the Cardinals’ season-opener in Atlanta.
